Dining Out for Life

Thank you for joining us on April 14!

April 14, 2016 was another GREAT NIGHT in Philadelphia and across the Delaware Valley as more than 200 restaurants and thousands of diners participated in the biggest dining event of the year! They truly made a difference by helping us make sure that no one faces AIDS alone, and their participation will impact thousands of men, women, and children infected with HIV and AIDS in very real ways – medical care, life-saving medications, housing, energy assistance, education and prevention. Thank you for your generous support!

Our signature event, Dining Out For Life, was founded in Philadelphia by ActionAIDS in 1991 and has expanded to over 60 cities in North America. This annual event has become our middle name and a “Must Do” event throughout the Delaware Valley.

Every year our participating restaurants donate 33% of each diner’s food bill to local AIDS service organizations, and our volunteer Ambassadors raise additional contributions from individual patrons. Anyone who donates $25 or more is eligible for 20% Off Tuesdays for the rest of the year.

We also host a Food Truck Pop Up on the 1300 block of Locust Street as part of Dining Out For Life. This 15 of the city's best food trucks served up their finest fare and Q102 was there spinning tunes.

If you are interested in having your restaurant participate in Dining Out For Life, please contact ActionAIDS. You can also volunteer as a Dining Out for Life Ambassador. Volunteers are key to the success of this event.
