Housing
Lack of housing and homelessness are the most critical threats facing people living with HIV today. ActionAIDS hired its first Housing Counseling staff in 1991 and now employs six counselors who serve over 600 individuals and families each year. The program works to prevent homelessness and promote economic and social self-reliance among individuals with HIV. Services include education, counseling and supports, and access to stable, safe and affordable housing.
