ActionAIDS
volunteers are the lifeblood of our organization. In keeping with
our mission to sustain and enhance the quality of life for people living
with HIV, ActionAIDS volunteers offer their time and energy to help
more than 3,500 men, women and children who come to us for assistance
each year. Just like any other company, we have administrative, technical,
and other organizational needs. A strong organizational foundation
is needed so that staff and volunteers can devote their attention
to providing consumer services.
Because there is so much to be done, we provide a wide variety of volunteer opportunities. There are even opportunities for people or groups to help maintain our offices. Painting and electrical work are two frequent areas of need.
